A Riveting Thriller That Will Keep You Guessing

Chosen Prey is the 12th book in the Prey series by John Sandford. It is a standalone novel that can be enjoyed by readers who are new to the series, as well as by longtime fans.

The novel follows Lucas Davenport, a detective with the Minneapolis Police Department, as he investigates the murder of a young woman. The victim, Sarah Keller, was a talented artist who had been working on a series of paintings that depicted violence against women.

Davenport quickly realizes that Sarah's murder is not an isolated incident. In fact, it is part of a larger pattern of violence that has been unfolding in the city for months. The victims are all young women, and they have all been killed in a similar manner.

As Davenport investigates Sarah's murder, he uncovers a web of secrets and lies. He learns that Sarah had been involved in a dangerous relationship with a man named David Vosler. Vosler is a wealthy and powerful businessman who has a history of violence against women.

Davenport believes that Vosler is responsible for Sarah's murder, but proving it is another matter. Vosler has an alibi for the night of the murder, and he has a team of lawyers who are ready to defend him at all costs.

Undeterred, Davenport continues to investigate Vosler and his associates. He eventually uncovers evidence that links Vosler to the murders of the other young women. With the help of his team, Davenport arrests Vosler and brings him to justice.

Chosen Prey is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. John Sandford has created a complex and suspenseful story that will appeal to fans of crime fiction and thrillers alike.
