From the moment she was old enough to sit in a saddle, Cindy Ross dreamed of competing in rodeos. Growing up on a ranch in rural Wyoming, she spent countless hours practicing barrel racing, a demanding event that tests the speed and agility of both horse and rider. As she got older, Cindy's dream began to take shape. She competed in local rodeos and soon began to make a name for herself as a rising star in the sport.

In 1989, Cindy's dream came true when she qualified for the National Finals Rodeo, the most prestigious event in professional rodeo. She was the first woman barrel racer to qualify for the NFR in over a decade, and her performance there cemented her place in rodeo history. Cindy went on to win numerous world titles and become one of the most successful barrel racers of all time.
