About the Author
Dale Carnegie was an American writer and lecturer. Carnegie was born in Maryville, Missouri, in 1888. He attended Warrensburg State Teachers College and then worked as a salesman. In 1912, he founded the Dale Carnegie Institute, which taught public speaking and interpersonal skills. Carnegie's courses were a huge success, and he soon became one of the most sought-after lecturers in the world.
Carnegie died in New York City in 1955. He was 66 years old.
