Synopsis

When the Bough Breaks is a gripping psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With the help of his friend and colleague, Milo Sturgis, Alex tries to piece together the puzzle of Laura's murder. But as they get closer to the truth, they find themselves in danger. The killer is desperate to keep their secret, and they will stop at nothing to protect it.

About the Author

Jonathan Kellerman is an American author of crime fiction. He is best known for his Alex Delaware series of novels, which feature a forensic psychologist and his homicide detective friend. Kellerman has also written a number of stand-alone novels, including When the Bough Breaks.

Kellerman was born in New York City in 1949. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and then earned a doctorate in psychology from the University of Southern California. After working as a clinical psychologist for several years, Kellerman began writing fiction. His first novel, When the Bough Breaks, was published in 1985.

Kellerman has since written over 40 novels, which have been translated into more than 20 languages. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Edgar Award, the Anthony Award, and the Macavity Award.
